Project Background
The owner of this property wanted to invest in a timber alternative seating option that would stand the test of time. “It felt like every couple of years I was buying a new wooden bench. I liked the natural look, but I wanted something that would be long-lasting straight from the box without spending any time painting it”. The homeowner also wanted something modern to match with his vibrant, contemporary planting and new stone patio space, as he felt his previous timber benches looked aged and tired. By choosing composite garden furniture, he was able to achieve the perfect balance of style and durability. The new benches had to not only tie in with his existing outdoor space, but also ensure minimum maintenance throughout their lifespan.

Our Proposal
After getting in touch and learning more about NeoTimber’s furniture products, the customer chose our Straight Edge Bench, due to its simple design and strong structural support for the central beam, with parallel slats slotted firmly into place into the legs of the bench.
“It’s more up-to-date than what we had before, and think it looks great! We were so impressed, that we paired it with some of NeoTimber’s loungers and planters too, just so it all appears a bit more uniform. We chose the black colour over the brown, as it matches with the darker tones of our patio seating area".
