An Introduction To FSC® Certification

The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) is an international non-profit organisation that promotes environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable forest management. FSC® certification helps ensure that wood and forest-based materials are sourced from forests that are managed according to these sustainability principles.

Independent third-party audits form part of the certification process, helping ensure certified materials remain traceable throughout the supply chain, from the forest where the timber is harvested, right through to the finished product.

For specifiers and buyers, FSC® certification provides confidence that the materials they select meet recognised environmental and social standards. It also supports compliance on projects where responsible sourcing is a requirement, making it easier to demonstrate due diligence across the supply chain.

What FSC® Certification Means For Our Products

The wood powder used within our composite products is FSC® 100% certified. This means the wood content is sourced from responsibly managed forests that meet FSC® standards.

FSC-certified forests are responsibly managed to help prevent deforestation, protect biodiversity and habitats, support fair treatment of workers, respect Indigenous rights, and ensure traceability from forest to final product.

Certification supports traceability within the supply chain and helps verify the origin of certified material. Our FSC® claim applies specifically to the wood component within applicable products.
