What warranty comes with the NeoTimber® Classic Solid composite decking range?
How do you install Classic Solid deck boards?

Do Classic composite deck boards expand and contract?

Allowing the correct spacing during installation is essential to maintain long-term performance. For full guidance, refer to the “Elements to Consider” section of our composite decking installation guide.
Do Classic Solid composite deck boards require specialist tools to install?

Can Classic Solid deck boards be painted?
Painting or staining Classic Solid deck boards is not recommended. They are designed as a low-maintenance alternative to timber, and traditional coatings will not properly adhere to the composite surface.
Does NeoTimber® Classic Solid decking get hotter than timber in direct sunlight?

In comparable colours, traditional timber can reach higher surface temperatures than NeoTimber® composite decking boards under the same conditions.
What’s the best way to clean Classic Solid composite decking?
Classic Solid deck boards are low-maintenance and easy to clean. For routine care, use warm soapy water and a soft-bristled brush. For a deeper clean, a pressure washer (up to 3100 psi) can be used with a fan attachment, keeping the nozzle at least 300mm from the surface. A composite cleaner such as Owatrol Compo-Clean can also be applied for tougher grime. Regular cleaning, as outlined in our care guides, will help keep your decking looking its best year-round.
How environmentally friendly are NeoTimber® Classic Solid deck boards?
Classic Solid deck boards are produced using responsibly sourced wood fibres and recycled plastics, reducing waste and minimising reliance on new raw materials. The wood content is FSC® 100% certified, ensuring it comes from well-managed forests. With their durable, low-maintenance construction, they provide a more sustainable alternative to traditional timber decking by reducing the need for regular treatments and replacement over time.
