Can NeoTimber® Deck Tiles be installed directly on grass or soil?

NeoTimber® composite deck tiles should be installed on a firm, level surface for optimal performance. A solid base such as paving, concrete, or well-compacted gravel ensures the click system locks securely and helps prevent movement over time. Proper ground preparation also allows the tiles to sit evenly and maintain long-term stability. Do deck tiles require tools for installation?

No, tools are not required to install NeoTimber® composite deck tiles. Each tile features a built-in click system that locks securely into place by hand, making installation quick and suitable for all skill levels. Simply position the tiles and press them together to form a stable, even surface. Straight edge trims and corner edge trims can be added just as easily for a neat, finished look (sold separately).
