Deluxe Narrow Composite Deck Board

Strength Where You Step
A dense composite core delivers dependable strength and stability across the narrower profile. This construction supports confident use in residential settings and selected commercial environments. It maintains durability underfoot without compromising design detail or layout flexibility.

Holds Its Colour, Stays Clean
The capped composite surface helps protect against fading, surface staining and everyday outdoor wear. Dirt and marks remain on the surface rather than absorbing into the board. This keeps maintenance simple while supporting long-term colour consistency in exposed outdoor settings.

More Impact Per Metre
The slim board profile introduces visual contrast and definition that wider boards cannot achieve. Ideal for borders, feature areas and mixed-width layouts, Deluxe Narrow boards allow stronger design impact. This is achieved without increasing material use or complicating installation.
Engineered to minimise visible colour change from weathering, the board maintains a consistent appearance over time. Its advanced surface formulation helps resist everyday stains and spills, while the grooved profile enhances grip in both wet and dry conditions. Designed to integrate seamlessly with NeoTimber® decking systems and accessories, it is suitable for residential projects and selected commercial applications.
NeoTimber® Deluxe Narrow composite deck boards are ideal for feature-led designs, borders, and mixed-width layouts where detail and variation are key. The slim profile allows for greater contrast and definition, especially when paired with wider boards within the same scheme.
As well as enhancing design flexibility, the Narrow range offers a simple way to elevate the overall look of a deck without increasing installation complexity. The capped surface resists fading and staining, helping to maintain a clean, consistent finish with minimal maintenance. Backed by a 25-year residential and 10-year commercial warranty, it delivers long-term performance and reliability.
Sustainability remains central to our approach. The wood fibres used in our Deluxe Narrow Composite Deck Board are FSC® 100% certified, ensuring responsible sourcing, while the inclusion of recycled plastics helps reduce environmental impact.
Colour That Adds Depth
Each board features a refined two-tone finish that adds depth without looking artificial. From Ash White and Silver Birch to Oak, Teak, Chocolate, Antique, Grey and Charcoal, the colour range integrates cleanly with NeoTimber® trims. The result is a cohesive, well-balanced finish.

FAQs
Get quick answers to the most common questions.
Does the NeoTimber® Deluxe Narrow Composite Deck Board fade over time?
Is this product suitable for commercial use?
Is the Deluxe Narrow Decking range stain-resistant?
What warranty comes with the Deluxe Composite Decking range?
How do you install the decking?
Is the decking slip-resistant?
Yes, both sides of the Deluxe Narrow board are designed to enhance traction in wet and dry conditions. The textured surface helps reduce slip risk in exposed areas, although performance may vary depending on board orientation, environment, and ongoing maintenance.
Does the product expand and contract?
Yes, like all composite materials, Deluxe Narrow boards naturally expand and contract with changes in temperature. This is a normal characteristic and is accounted for within the installation design. By allowing the recommended spacing during installation, this movement can be properly accommodated, helping to maintain long-term stability, alignment, and overall performance. For further guidance, please refer to our composite decking installation resources.
Do you need specialist tools to install the decking?
No, Deluxe Narrow deck boards can be cut and installed using standard woodworking tools. For best results, use NeoTimber® fixings and follow the recommended installation guidelines to ensure accurate fitting and long-term performance.
Can the decking be painted?
Painting or staining is not recommended. The capped composite surface is engineered to maintain its colour and finish over time without the need for additional treatments. Paints and stains do not bond effectively to the material and may lead to an uneven or short-lived result.
Does NeoTimber® decking get hotter in the sun than timber?
All decking materials will heat up in direct sunlight. Surface temperature is largely influenced by colour, with lighter shades staying cooler than darker tones. When comparing like-for-like colours, NeoTimber® composite decking performs similarly to traditional timber.
How do I clean NeoTimber® composite decking?
Routine cleaning can be carried out using warm soapy water and a soft-bristled brush to remove everyday dirt and debris. For more thorough cleaning, a pressure washer can be used at up to 3100 psi with a fan nozzle, keeping the spray at least 300mm from the surface to avoid damage. For stubborn marks or deeper cleaning, a specialist composite cleaner such as Owatrol Compo-Clean can also be used in line with the manufacturer’s instructions.
How sustainable are NeoTimber® composite materials?
Our composite products are engineered with sustainability in focus, combining recycled plastics with responsibly sourced wood fibres to reduce waste and minimise reliance on virgin materials. The wood fibre component is FSC® 100% certified, ensuring it comes from well-managed forests. Compared to traditional timber, composite materials require minimal maintenance, eliminating the need for regular staining or sealing. Their durability and extended lifespan also reduce the frequency of replacement, making them a more resource-efficient and environmentally responsible option over time.
