Slatted Composite Cladding Board

Slatted Looks That Last
Engineered with a durable capped surface, NeoTimber® Slatted cladding offers superior resistance to fading and weathering. The dual-tone surface maintains its rich colour and texture through every season, providing long-lasting style without the maintenance burden of traditional timber.

Years Of Style, Hardly Any Upkeep
The capped outer shell forms a strong barrier against the elements. Marks and dirt wash away easily, keeping your exterior pristine with minimal effort. Designed to withstand the weather, it stays smart for years with no sanding, sealing or painting required.

Brushed Detail With Real Character
With a two-tone brushed texture, NeoTimber® Slatted cladding brings depth and definition to any facade. Its contemporary linear profile creates clean, modern lines while echoing the warmth and character of real wood.

A Smart, Considered System
A larger board profile means more coverage with fewer boards, helping projects move faster and reducing installation time. Compatible with a wide range of trims, it’s easy to fit and designed to deliver a seamless, professional finish.
Designed with a wide board profile, this system allows for faster installation and efficient coverage across larger areas. It is available in both 2.5m and 3.6m lengths to suit a variety of project requirements, and is backed by a 25-year residential and 10-year commercial warranty for long-term confidence.
The capped composite construction provides lasting protection against the elements, helping to maintain performance and appearance over time. Its modern slatted design delivers a clean, contemporary finish, while the use of recycled materials supports a more sustainable approach to exterior cladding.
NeoTimber® Slatted cladding combines striking visual design with advanced capped composite technology to create a durable, low-maintenance solution that performs as well as it looks. The wide board format ensures efficient installation, while the protective surface supports long-term colour stability, resulting in a sleek facade that stands the test of time.
Sustainability remains a key focus. The wood fibres used in the Slatted cladding range are FSC® 100% certified, ensuring responsible sourcing, and the incorporation of recycled plastics helps to reduce environmental impact.

FAQs
Get quick answers to the most common questions.
Do NeoTimber® Slatted cladding boards fade over time?
Is the Slatted cladding range resistant to stains?
What warranty is included with the Slatted cladding range?
Can NeoTimber® cladding be installed both vertically and horizontally?
How do you install NeoTimber® cladding?
Does NeoTimber® composite cladding change size with temperature?
Like all wood-plastic composite materials, NeoTimber® composite cladding will naturally expand and contract slightly with temperature changes. This is a normal characteristic of the material and should be accounted for during installation, particularly when setting the correct end-to-end spacing between boards. Following the recommended spacing guidelines helps ensure proper movement, maintaining long-term stability and appearance. For detailed advice, refer to the ‘Elements to Consider’ section of the NeoTimber® composite cladding installation guide.
Can NeoTimber® cladding be painted?
We do not recommend painting or staining NeoTimber® composite cladding. The boards are designed as a low-maintenance alternative to timber, and paints or stains will not bond effectively to the capped surface. The Slatted cladding range is engineered to maintain consistent colour over time without the need for additional treatments.
What’s the best way to clean NeoTimber® composite cladding?
NeoTimber® composite cladding is designed to be low maintenance and easy to care for. We recommend cleaning twice a year using warm soapy water and a soft-bristled brush to keep the boards looking their best. For more thorough cleaning, a pressure washer can be used at up to 3100 psi to remove built-up dirt and pollution. Always use a fan nozzle and keep the spray at least 300mm from the surface to avoid damage. For stubborn grime, a specialist composite cleaner such as Owatrol Compo-Clean can also be used. For further guidance, refer to our care and maintenance guides.
Is the Slatted cladding range fire-rated?
Yes, the NeoTimber® Slatted cladding range is Class D fire-rated in accordance with BS EN 13501-1. This classification indicates a moderate contribution to fire and makes it suitable for certain low-rise applications when used in line with relevant building regulations. As with all composite cladding materials, it is combustible to a degree; however, the Class D rating provides a consistent level of fire performance for appropriate installations.
How environmentally friendly is Slatted cladding?
Slatted cladding is manufactured using responsibly sourced wood fibres and recycled plastics, helping to reduce material waste and reliance on new resources. The wood fibre content is FSC® 100% certified, ensuring it comes from well-managed forests. Designed for long-term strength and durability, it provides a more sustainable exterior solution by reducing the need for frequent maintenance or replacement over time.
