Hollow Grey Composite Garden Decking Creates A Family-Friendly Outdoor Space In Birmingham
Project Background
A busy family house whose garden space was in need of a family friendly upgrade, this project required a low-maintenance and safe space for a family of four and their two dogs. While the functional elements of the product were of importance, the customer was also keen to compliment the newly revamped contemporary exterior of their house. A deck area at the bottom of the garden that was offset by a traditional perimeter wall - this space was designed to be used for entertaining and leisure time in warmer months.

Our Proposal
Having already expressed an interest in a contemporary grey coloured board, the client was instantly drawn to NeoTimber’s latest range: Deluxe Grey. Not only did the finish and style tick the boxes, but the capped nature of the product gave the client a little more peace of mind that spills from everyday family life (mainly from their toddlers or two puppies) weren’t going to cause headaches. The easy-clean finish of the material meant that stains would simply sit on the surface of the board, and if cleaned up in good time, would not stain the surface of the deck.
With the space solely being used to entertain family and friends, with only light furniture being used, there wasn’t a requirement to opt for a solid board and so instead the hollow Deluxe product presented itself as a more affordable solution.
