Deluxe Wide Composite Deck Board

Built To Hold Its Colour Effortlessly
Designed for long-term outdoor use, Deluxe Wide deck boards feature a durable capped composite surface that helps resist colour fade, surface staining, and everyday environmental wear. This protective outer layer limits moisture absorption and UV-related degradation, supporting long-term colour consistency while keeping the surface easy to clean and maintain.

Wider Boards For Cleaner Lines & Faster Coverage
The wider board profile delivers both visual and practical advantages across larger deck areas. Increased coverage per board means fewer joins, resulting in cleaner lines and a more expansive, contemporary finish. Fewer boards are also required to complete an installation, helping streamline fitting while maintaining consistent spacing and alignment.

Strong & Durable For Residential Or Commercial Use
At the core of each Deluxe Wide board is a dense, compacted composite structure engineered for strength and stability. This solid construction provides dependable style, making the range suitable for residential projects as well as commercial environments where durability and reliability are essential.
Designed for both residential decks and high-traffic commercial spaces, this wider board format creates clean lines and a more open, expansive appearance. Engineered for long-term outdoor performance, it withstands exposure to the elements while its protected surface helps reduce the effects of weathering and everyday wear, without the need for ongoing treatments.
NeoTimber® Deluxe Wide composite deck boards are ideal for projects where durability, scale, and a modern finish are key. The wider profile reduces the number of boards required, delivering a streamlined look across larger areas while enhancing overall visual impact.
Built for real-world use, the solid composite core provides reliable stability underfoot in a variety of settings. The capped surface supports long-term colour retention and surface durability, ensuring consistent performance in exposed environments.
From spacious garden decks to rooftop terraces and commercial installations, Deluxe Wide boards offer a practical blend of style and resilience. The result is a robust, low-maintenance surface that remains visually refined throughout the seasons.
Sustainability is central to our approach. The wood fibres used in our Deluxe Wide Composite Deck Board are FSC® 100% certified, ensuring responsible sourcing, while the inclusion of recycled plastics helps reduce environmental impact.
Eight Premium Colour Options With Two-Tone Depth

FAQs
Get quick answers to the most common questions.
Does the NeoTimber® Deluxe Wide Composite Deck Board fade over time?
Is this product suitable for commercial applications?
Is the Deluxe composite decking range stain-resistant?
What warranty is included with the Deluxe composite decking range?
How do you install the decking?
Is the decking slip-resistant?
Yes, both sides of the Deluxe Wide board are engineered to improve underfoot grip in wet and dry conditions. The textured, grooved surface helps enhance traction, particularly in exposed areas. As with any decking material, slip performance can vary depending on factors such as board orientation, environmental conditions, and ongoing maintenance.
Does the decking expand and contract?
Yes, like all composite decking, Deluxe Wide boards will naturally expand and contract slightly with changes in temperature. This is a normal material behaviour and is factored into the product design. Allowing the correct spacing during installation accommodates this movement, helping to maintain long-term stability, alignment, and overall performance. For comprehensive installation guidance, refer to our composite decking resources.
Do you need specialist tools to install the decking?
No, Deluxe Wide deck boards can be cut and installed using standard woodworking tools typically used for timber decking. For best results, use NeoTimber® fixing systems and follow the recommended installation guidelines to ensure precise fitting and reliable long-term performance.
Can the decking be painted?
Painting or staining is not recommended. The capped composite surface is engineered to retain its colour and finish over time without the need for additional treatments. Paints and stains will not adhere effectively to the material and may result in an uneven or short-lived finish.
Does NeoTimber® decking heat up more than timber in direct sunlight?
All decking materials will warm up when exposed to direct sunlight. Surface temperature is influenced more by colour than by the material itself, with darker tones absorbing and retaining more heat than lighter shades. When comparing similar colours, composite decking performs in line with, and in some cases can outperform, traditional timber in terms of heat retention.
What’s the best way to clean NeoTimber® composite decking?
Clean with warm soapy water and a soft brush for routine maintenance. For deeper cleaning, use a pressure washer (up to 3100 psi) with a fan nozzle held at least 300mm from the surface, or apply a specialist composite cleaner for stubborn marks.
How environmentally sustainable are NeoTimber® composite products?
Our composite products are designed with sustainability at the forefront, using recycled plastics alongside responsibly sourced wood fibres to minimise waste and reduce dependence on virgin materials. The wood fibre content is FSC® 100% certified, ensuring it comes from well-managed forests. Compared to traditional timber, composite materials require very little maintenance, eliminating the need for regular staining or sealing. Their long lifespan and durability also reduce the need for replacement, making them a more efficient and environmentally responsible solution over time.
