Project Background
Stronghold Homes delivered The Kilns, a distinctive collection of nine detached, five-bedroom modern homes built on the site of a former brickworks, from which the development takes its name. Designed as a premium residential scheme, the exterior elevations combine brick, render and cladding to create a cohesive and striking architectural identity that reflects the quality of the homes.
With a clear design intent to incorporate slatted, wood-effect elements, the team required materials that would enhance the contemporary aesthetic. Long-term durability and consistency across the development were equally important. Achieving a high-end finish that complemented the wider palette was essential, alongside solutions that would remain low-maintenance for future homeowners.

Our Proposal
NeoTimber® supplied Slatted composite cladding in a charcoal finish, providing a bold, modern contrast to the lighter render and brickwork. Colour-matched trims were used throughout to ensure a seamless, refined appearance across façades and boundary treatments.
The finished installation delivers strong visual continuity across the scheme and reinforces the premium character of the homes. It also provides a durable, low-maintenance solution aligned with Stronghold Homes’ design vision.
